Cover of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody by Suzie McNeil

I'm totally in a Rockstar: INXS mood now (see last two posts). Although nothing will ever beat the Queen original, this is pretty darn spectacular in my opinion.

    Spectacular it is +Scott Cramer

  2. Scott Cramer says:

Yay! At least one fellow lover of this version! 😉

  3. Jordan Taylor says:

I love all the classics, and with a voice like that, how can you not appreciate it?????

  4. Doug B. says:

Really?! Sorry, not feeling this one either. I've heard better renditions at karaoke bars.

  5. Scott Cramer says:

She was one of my favorites on the show; though you knew the boys in INXS were never probably going to pick a female lead. Sigh.

She's still making music up in her home country of Canada; some good stuff. I keep expecting to hear her break through some year to mainstream radio.

+Doug B. Such is the danger of covering well known super famous tunes. Once again, I would not go that far, but I can see where some fans might not appreciate the different style. Appreciate the comments though!

Oh my gosh I LOVED this show!! Marty Casey singing "Baby Hit Me" with only his guitar as a backup is one of my all time fave live performances!!! And yes… I bought the single of it XD

I remember watching Suzie perform this and thought "that took guts! it's heartfelt!" I had never seen anyone do this on a big show before…. And then soon after every kid on American Idol started singing Queen XD Love her outfit too, she looks pretty awesome!

It's so nice to look at actual live performances and not just lip syncing.

  8. Scott Cramer says:

+Mar Mai You never cease to surprise me.

  9. Jim Gomes says:

Not bad, but very hard to top Freddie's performance on that. This doesn't really do the best at showcasing her voice.

  10. Scott Cramer says:

True, but it was pretty good fun. Considering they were first time in front of an audience and only a couple days to arrange and practice!
