Smile and Tears Challenge

I smiled the entire way through and had to wipe some moisture from my left eye. +annie bodnar said it made her cry (in a good way). It's wonderful to see an artist interact with a fan like this! It actually strips away some of the jaded-ness that builds up in me when it comes to celebrities.

Dare you watch? {evil, yet mirthful, laughter here}

Thanks +Bill Abrams for the post!

Hard not to share Rayna's excitement when it shows in this video. http://youtu.be/AXBlY5CImUU

Sorry if I called you out +annie bodnar!

  2. annie bodnar says:

no problem +Scott Cramer. I'm not much of an example, tho… cuz I'm a crybaby. on a good day, everything makes me cry.

  3. Scott Cramer says:

+Emilio Boronali Let's see if we can make you weep. +Caroline Evebetty no contest… I will send tissues. +Kristi Fahlsing? Hmm… who else… +Halfdan Reschat I think will try and hold out but fail. 😉

  4. Scott Cramer says:

Oh… and with Paul Simon, he has a song that makes me break down every time! Will find and post. 😉 Thanks for making me think of it +annie bodnar

  5. Halfdan Reschat says:

+Scott Cramer, I don't really know Paul Simon other than from the less than a handful Simon & Garfunkel songs I've heard (I even had to look him up to find out that he was that Simon). I do appreciate what Paul Simon did for that fan but other than that the video didn't really do anything for me.

  6. Tim Clary says:

Awesome! Night of her life, I imagine. What an experience.

  7. Caroline Evebetty says:

Paul simon has always sounded kind in my ears 🙂 (although I'm not found of his music, sorry :)) this confirms 🙂 (what contest ? I do never cry ! I've got a heart of stone ;)) 😛

  8. annie bodnar says:

+Halfdan Reschat his latest LP is fabulous! here's a cut: Paul Simon – So Beautiful or So What – Dazzling Blue

  9. Tim Clary says:

Oh, cool! This one is filmed by here husband and has a lovely write-up: My Beautiful Wife Rayna Ford and Paul Simon – Duncan (Live at the Sound Academy in Toronto)

  10. Halfdan Reschat says:

+annie bodnar, it sounds okay but it is not really my kind of music.

  11. Scott Cramer says:

+Halfdan Reschat hehe Sorry, man, couldn't resist! 😉

+Caroline Evebetty Aww! No, you're still a softy. I don't listen to all Paul Simon either, just for the record. I do like a handful of songs really well though!

  12. Caroline Evebetty says:

    crap.. where did I fail ? :/ XD ;P

  13. Bill Abrams says:

I don't want to say that the music is irrelevant (because it's Paul Simon!), but the emotion and connection is with Rayna. It's pure I-can't-believe-this-is-happening-to-me, yet she honors the moment getting nicely through the song.

  14. Caroline Evebetty says:

    absolutely 🙂

  15. Keith Cramer says:

    grace under pressure. nicely done.

  16. Kristi Fahlsing says:

Very touching. A day Rayna will never forget! A surreal moment for her for sure.

  17. Kari Tedrick says:

I not only cried, I got so caught up in it, I actually clapped and cheered right along with everyone else at the end. Congrats to Rayna for a fantastic job!

  18. Scott Cramer says:

Hm. +Kari Tedrick. I had a flashback when I went to put syrup on my daughter's pancakes this morning… but I see that you have heart. I'm watching you, though.
