Loving Some Sloppy Joes

This last night while waiting for the fries to finish baking. 😉

For each pound of browned and drained hamburger, approximately a quarter cup of brown sugar (sweetness), a nice long squeeze of ketchup (quarter to third of a cup?) (tangy), and a lesser squeeze of mustard (bite). Add more of each to your personal tastes.

Get good buns; why skimp on bleached out little fall apart ones? Top with pickles; I like a zesty bread and butter and +Kristi Fahlsing prefers a dill.

Enjoy!

So, I actually didn't know this one. 🙂
I guess it makes quite a mess when eating, hence the name?

+Sarah dep Yup, it's the Sloppy Joe hamburger in the skillet on warm; I just shaped it with the wooden spoon because, well, it's what I do. 😉

+Dirk Reul Totally. Less sloppy if you use a big bun and don't over fill. Kristi still uses a fork, though. Wuss!

Okay, I shall have to make one. Big buns are always a problem here in Germany, we just don't make that many giant burgers 😛
