    I've seen this happen before. The FAS140 guidelines were basically written by CPAs who had vested interests in creating a pyramid scheme. Fun times again?

    This is certainly not exclusive to Wall Street. Probably the majority of the bills you see going through Congress have been at least partially written by private concerns of one sort or another.

    How else are a pack of aging, shitty lawyers going to write laws? You think their polisci degreed interns in the copy room are going to steer them right in medicine, technology, defense, etc? You want government to rule everything? Bend over!
