Apparently “country style” means eat while still squealing. You may also look at the fact that it isn’t wrapped in natural lining, aka: intestine, it’s loose meat there suitable for patties. Unlike stark raw meat, it is spiced and cured and preserved with natural and artificial flavors and ingredients. It’s less likely to rot or spoil as quickly and … be delicious because of higher fat content.
I’m sure that someone might look at this and think, scary “Deliverance” thoughts, but that wasn’t my first impression nor of “Motel Hell” — three different types of meats in regional favor sausage: beef, deer, human
