I posted a rather lengthy comment on Guy's original share; the context of which belongs there but take a look if you are interested.
I shared this because I sit and look at the cup — a throw away item — and the amount of time it takes to intricately draw all of the patterns. It really changes something that is stamped out by the millions(?) and distributed with the exact same impersonal look to every customer at every Starbucks. If I saw something like this in the trash, I might — to the chagrin of my girlfriend — pick it up.
