So… admittedly I have not flown a lot, but still, I have never seen the aisle of the plane all smokey. When I walked on today to my connecting flight coming home from Maine to Indiana, it was like a dry ice haunted house effect. I know that it was not really smoke, but it was still rather odd, and nobody else seemed to even notice it or pay attention to it. So, of course I snapped a bunch of pics hoping for an #autoawesome of it. 😉

I realized Friday in the Indy airport parking lot waiting on the shuttle that I have never traveled anywhere just on my own. Not by choice or fear or anything; just always been traveling with someone the way it worked out. So far as flights, last one was with daughter +Maddie Cramer to Disney in Florida a year ago. Before that was with +Keith Cramer to a business thing pre 9/11. I drive two and a half hour trips alone all the time to see daughter at her home town, but something about breaking out of the normal circumference of where you are familiar just feels way different – especially with no-one else to ask things like, "Where do you think we should turn/walk/go?", "Are we in the right place, do you think?", "Am I embarrassing you yet?" 🙂
I was thinking about +Halfdan Reschat traveling from Denmark to U.S. this last New Year's and that – navigating alone to a completely foreign country overseas, let alone another state, must take it to a new level altogether! Definitely an enviable experience.
Given money and time, I'd love to travel all the time. So far as being on my own, though it is fun to feel all independent, I'd much rather be sharing the experiences – even early morning airport waiting – with a loved one. ?

Thoughts on still running XP Pro after end of life?

You will only find her in the veiled back alleys of the 'plus where her name is only mentioned in hushed awed whispers and a meeting may only be procured with an offering of the finest exotic beer. Some say you will sooner see the Sasquatch in Times Square before you see a public post by Michelle. She is, however, the hidden jewel of the plus. If you value the most awesome geek (and beer) posts, then go forth and circle her now. It is worth the wait for her personal squad of homeland security to vet you. Do not mind the latex glove; Michelle just appreciates a non dusty profile. 😉

A little light on groceries, plus wanted to use up some hot dog buns before they got stale. So… scrambled eggs in a bun! The one on the left has jalapeño cherry salsa (courtesy of the wonderful +Adam Tyler and +Kelly Tyler) and the right is classic mustard and ketchup. Barbeque chips for the comfort food win. 😉
