The Walking Dead Monopoly and Risk

Because… Walking Dead all the things! 😉

From the link:
Monopoly: Your objective is still to acquire plots and resources to survive, but instead of using paper money, players trade supplies like food and ammo to gain more property or place a wall or guard tower (hotels and houses are useless in this edition).

Risk: Players will get a brand new map, courtesy of USAopoly, which plops them in the Southeast region of the U.S. where they battle and scavenge within numerous territories. Gamers will not only have to fend off attacks from the living, but also from the armies of ravenous zombies that randomly spawn at the beginning of each player’s turn.

Retired Superheros

Donald Soffritti give us an interesting and, in some cases, disturbing look at some of our heroes well into retirement. Many more pics at the link.

Another preview of the weekend's shenanigans

I apologize if this is the first post you see upon waking. I was going to save the heavy artillery but Meg Ryan +Keith Cramer fired first! http://goo.gl/9XT4Rv

We spent a portion of the weekend reenacting scenes suggested by friends. Very… interesting… weekend. lol

Preview of Scene Reenactment Shenanigans

We needed a Frenchman for a scene (see recent movie reenactment posts). This is what brother +Keith Cramer and I came up with. The beret is authentic from +Edouard E and the scarf is from the lost and found at college.

Keith's comment, two seconds before this picture, " +Edouard E is going to be like, 'This is how you envision French people?!'" 😉

Cover of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody by Suzie McNeil

I'm totally in a Rockstar: INXS mood now (see last two posts). Although nothing will ever beat the Queen original, this is pretty darn spectacular in my opinion.

Another tune from Rockstar: INXS (see last post). I think… and this might be blasphemy… that I like this version the best.

Dark Cover of Britney Spear's (Hit Me) Baby One More Time by Marty Casey

Dark Cover of Britney Spear's (Hit Me) Baby One More Time by Marty Casey

If you get into talking tunes with +Sean Cowen then amazing connections start popping in your brain. So, (1) Circle Sean, and (2) Interact with him. He's like brain food for music and so much more!

So, on to the tune! Anyone remember watching years back a little reality show called Rockstar: INXS? The INXS guys were looking for a new lead singer and they did it through this show/contest. There were some absolutely AMAZING performances. It was by far, my favorite show of the summer.

One of the contestants, they wanted to throw for a loop so they assigned him a Britney Spears song. He ran with it and it was awesome.

Breaking Social

+Mike Searle and +matthew rappaport already shared a rougher version of this that I created in Matt's +Hangout Conversations anniversary hangout. I was just being a dork. But… after the hangout ended and all the party goers went home, I went to shut down the laptop and there it was staring at me from my still open Photoshop. I could not resist polishing it up a bit. In for a penny, in for a pound. I am awaiting the GKB (G+ secret police) to haul me off at any point. Happy Anniversary Matt! And, Hello Mr. +Vic Gundotra who I hear has a wonderful sense of humor and is very forgiving.

Giant Straw Dalek

From the link:
This monumental 35? tall straw Dalek took around 700 man hours to build. Not only does it look amazing, but the head and weapons move and it even has audio!  It required around 6 tons of straw and 5 tons of steel to build. An ice cream shop called Snugbury’s near Nantwich in Cheshire has been doing giant straw builds every year for over a decade and for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, they decided to do a giant straw Dalek.
