Death and destruction… No big deal, really. And THIS is one of the reasons I say fans should be worried about the sequel; not all this Affleck casting noise. Then again, I worry the majority of fans can't handle something meatier than Transformers anymore. Avengers probably didn't have to go the extra mile for the majority of what's out there for fans. Disclaimer: I had some issues with the latest Star Trek property also. So, maybe it's just me. :-/

I have seen people like this article describes. I even know a few. I say to these people, "You get what you pay for" and "If you keep having problems, take your business elsewhere." But, I think some of these people secretly look for a reason to go all "mightier than thou" on someone; on anyone. It's not them that needs to change, it's the universe that needs to change. I can not imagine living inside that person's head, always parked in the victim zone waiting for an opportunity to loudly tell the universe around them how important they are. Very sad.

In (belated) honor of +Blaine Hall's birthday last week, combined with +Sean Cowen's countdown to the walking dead premiere, plus all the recent Batman news, I present the G+ Dynamic Zombie Fleeing Duo! Whereas Blain seems to have a healthy dose of "HOLY, LET'S GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE, BATMAN!" Sean has a total "Just wait until I get my Bat Zombie Repellent" cool smugness as they escape the oncoming horde.
Having met these guys just a few weeks ago, I can totally vouch for the costumes, absolutely no Photoshopping necessary. Cross my fingers. Right +Keith Cramer and +Kristi Fahlsing? 😉

Honestly, with the title and the article's cheesy graphic, and intro that does not really grab you by the collar, I was surprised I read this. But, it turned out to be wonderful reading, especially going into a new week. "Self helpy" sounding stuff is everywhere but only some of it resonates. Your mileage may vary; for me, I liked the plain and simple summary with this one.

(1) This is from the ShirtPunch guys in Canada (who I normally love). However, I did not sign up for this e-mail newsletter; they used their ShirtPunch distribution list to send this to me.
(2) I am not paying $20 a month to get cast-off unknown merchandise, regardless of the "favorite brands" tagline. This reeks of marketing where nerds/geeks (basically their t-shirt core base) likes everything they consider to be "nerdy" (more appropriately read, "whatever they can buy at a good price to shove in the boxes and not worry about inventory control").
If it's your thing, though… let me know if I'm totally off-base and missing the coolest thing ever. From my favorite brands. :-/
