Torchwood: Miracle Day to Make BBC AMERICA Premiere September 14. I have not seen this one yet and I figure perhaps there are others like me in the same boat!

Looking at the picture, it gave me sort of a Mod Squad feel (even though that show predates me); I think it's the tight group shot with everyone looking cool and gazing in different directions.

Just playing… thought that I would share. I took a number of photos from different angles but particularly liked this shot. Other than the black and white treatment, nothing was changed (aside from any enhancement Google chose to do on upload). Pictures taken with Nexus 4 cell phone and B&W conversion done with the stock photo app.

So, a moment by myself at the zoo and I walked up to this exhibit. A young monkey ran up from the back of the enclosure and jumped up onto the cage wires to have a look at me. The picture where he is leaning off toward the right of the frame was snapped just after that. It was toward the end of the day and I was the only one standing there for a moment. I suddenly had an idea; I put the camera on front facing mode (where you can take a selfie) and leaned way in for the monkey to see himself. He was mesmerized with his own image and watched himself moving around. I blindly snapped the other shots here of the monkey looking at himself. It was a very fun moment shared… and then he dribbled a piece of food out of his mouth and ran back to his mom. 😉

She (?) just flew in front of me today at the zoo and posed. One of the greatest inventions? Cell phone camera. Two of these are HDR mode and the other is regular; all from the Nexus 4.

I'm inclined to believe a bit of both. Either way, I'm fascinated by his photos and body of work. More pictures at the article and especially at the Facebook page (links below). The picture on Facebook of developing photos in a bathtub gives a hint to the squalor of his living and working space. Well worth some time to read, view, and enjoy.

On July 4th, plussers around the world celebrated +Halfdan Reschat's birthday. On this side of the pond, +Keith Cramer, +Kristi Fahlsing, daughter Cramer, and I launched a dozen or so Chinese lanterns. Each lantern carried with it a picture of Halfdan and +Fluffy McSharkah Khan along with birthday wishes and an e-mail address for anyone finding a lantern to notify us.

Attached to this post are two videos of our second lantern launch from our family 4th of July get together.

HI! 🙂 My name is Jodi S., I was on my usual saturday morning walk back to the bar to get my car this morning and found 2 lanterns…. i picked them up because i dont like litter and found your picture with an email saying to let you know where they landed. Well both lanterns ended up in a field in the north part of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

It's not like Willis had a huge roll in the films, but "lazy" seems harsh considering he has been doing other work. So far as "greedy," I don't see anyone donating salaries to charity.

Looking forward to Jackie Chan and Harrison Ford. I think they should pair up Ford with Dolph Lundgren and have him wearing a thick fur coat. 😉

Apparently, my day is devolving into this for my theme song. :-/

* Locked myself out of secure folder because I forgot how to type.
* Went to lunch and forgot my wallet and had to reverse out of the Taco Bell line.
* Stole cinnamon graham crackers from
+Christy Pemberton's office and accidentally dumped graham dust and sugar all over her desk.
* Forgot all my print-outs. These were returned later by Christy all graham dust and sugar free; she's nice like that.

Ah well, Ignorance is bliss. I think it's gonna be a happy day! 😉
