It's no surprise to anyone on the 'plus that knows me, that I'm a t-shirt addict. Daughter and I went to an anime con this past weekend and I let her pick out a couple shirts.
Her first pick was a sparkly blue TARDIS which was awesome because this past Christmas was her first interest in the Doctor and it was as the result of an anonymous plush TARDIS I received as a gift in the +Secret Santa program (http://goo.gl/ASOIM). She started watching Doctor Who again with me this past weekend and in Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS she was extremely intrigued that the TARDIS had a swimming pool. 😉
Her second t-shirt pick was a My Little Pony mash-up, "iSparkle". "Sparkle" was involved in both her picks so she's already learned to follow a theme.
So… the past couple of days we themed our shirts. I figure I may only have a little while longer before she tells me, "Dad! I can't be seen wearing that with you!" Or… maybe I'll get lucky. 🙂

In honor of +Halfdan Reschat's birthday, I challenged +Keith Cramer to a duel with Roman Candles. We ran out of light to video on the 4th of July, so it was postponed until yesterday. In a secluded alley, vetted for safety of course, we walked our paces and lit the fuses. For the glory of Halfdan (or to barrage each other with balls of fire, but really more the glory thing) we stood our ground, held our video cameras, and hoped for the best!

Happy Birthday +Halfdan Reschat! When +Keith Cramer, +Kristi Fahlsing, and I were spraying our hair pink for +Yoon-Mi Kim's birthday, we were talking about what to do for yours. Keith and I were keen on blowing things up for you since your birthday falls on the Fourth of July holiday here in the states. Kristi had a more passive suggestion of floating you up into the sky! So… after a bit more talking, we decided to launch pictures of you and +Fluffy McSharkah Khan on Chinese lanterns. We even created an e-mail address for anyone who might find one of the fallen lanterns wherever they might end up! And, because we were full of festive joy, we even sang a little birthday song for you.
The launch was not as coordinated as we hoped since we almost caught everyone on fire, but it still worked out okay!

Daughter and I were travelling in the car and it started to rain. She exclaimed, "Every time I bring my tablet somewhere, it rains."
To which I replied, "You should take your tablet to a desert."
Daughter immediately shot back, "I am not going to pee on my shirt and put it on my head!"
?!?!?
The background to this story, unknown to me at the time, was that she had watched an episode of Man vs. Wild. Bear Grylls was dropped in the desert and to fight dehydration he soaked his t-shirt in urine. Ahhh… perfect sense, now!
