Political Cartoon. You have been warned

Questionable Content is one of my all-time favorite online comics (I highly recommend starting at the first one and reading non-stop straight through to current). During breaks from the regular strip, Jeph Jacques often resorts to this bird and simple text; normally skippable (sorry Jeph). This time… blammo! Dead-on political commentary!

Let the uncircling begin.

  1. Claudio Ibarra says:

I would just like to say thank you for a politically themed post that rips on both major parties. They both deserve it.

  2. Mellie B says:

Logic, reason, snark, and a slap of reality?

    so blocked!

  3. Sheila Garl says:

As the saying goes, if you aren't angry, you haven't been paying attention.

  4. Scott Cramer says:

    Thanks guys. 🙂

  5. Sheila Garl says:

Really, what I see is that too many people have tuned out and really don't pay attention. They vote for the party, without noticing if a) the candidate actually delivers on key issues and b) exactly what the party line supports. I have a friend who votes for the same party. Always. When asked what she supports, only about a third of her values align with the party line.  But by god, she's a party member!

I don't know what the solution is, other than to quote Batman and say we have the government we deserve, though not the one we want.

  6. Claudio Ibarra says:

+Sheila Garl Your truthiness is saddening.

  7. Scott Cramer says:

+Sheila Garl I see too many people treating their political affiliations like being fans of a pro sports team at best, and professional wrestling at worst. The media treats the "races" the same way with the presidential election being the Superbowl of politics. All the media hype centers on the excitement; the smack talk, the fights, and the big plays. The politician players know it. The media knows it. Unfortunately, so many viewers just sit back and buy into the entertainment aspect year after unproductive year. I get disheartened that we, as a people, will be able to break the cycle.

  8. Luis Roca says:

That is one bitter bird who completely veered off topic from America's work force.

  9. Mellie B says:

but at least he came back to hot dogs ( ^.^ )b

  10. Luis Roca says:

…tough, bitter cold hotdogs. — blech

  11. Mellie B says:

+Luis Roca : Hotdogs UR DOIN IT RONG

  12. Luis Roca says:

Exactly +Mellie B. Birdie needs to keep his rants away from the hot grill and beer unless it wants to end up in my belly.

  13. Mellie B says:

    lol!
    So ferocious 😉

  14. Luis Roca says:

I'm usually not like this but outdoor fires and hearing about the crap spewed on cable news seems to bring out the primal ferocity in me.

  15. Scott Cramer says:

    Now I want a s'more. Thanks +Luis Roca.
