+Christopher Doust ..Can you think of anyone who may be interested ?
The closed toe, yes.
I love the geek factor, but the heels are higher than I would wear for longer than a few hours.
Totally.
They're gorgeous! I just can't wear high heels, otherwise… wow!
Love. Would wear!
+Krystal Heather :DD
You buying? +Scott Cramer
(j/k +Kristi Fahlsing )
Oh, yes I would wear these delights. They are super!!
Is ok +Skye Delaney, he can buy them for you, I don't wear heels. I have enough trouble walking in flats!
I'm just performing a scientific survey…
#ForScience !
I love them! I need to get some plain shoes and do something like this to them. Mod Podge and maybe some waterproof acrylic spray?
+Tamra Bryan I've seen how-tos for this kind of thing on Pinterest.
Thanks +Kristi Fahlsing You are a great friend.
Size 8 1/2? +Scott Cramer and overnight them , if you do not mind, please?
Ooo thanks! +Mellie B
Might take some creative searches… But I'm sure you'll find something =)
How could i get those?
I'll get right on that +Skye Delaney !
+Delia Walker I read that the Etsy user in the link made them as a one-off project. If you write them, perhaps he/she has made more.
+Delia Walker there's a link above the image, check it out.
Dun dun dun de dun dun….
I would wear them.
With the right clothes (i have no problem), but less heel. :-))
I did look up how to make them. I'll probably use bargain or thrift store shoes for a first attempt.
First make sure the shoes are very clean. Cut or tear out your art for the shoe – paper or material both work. If you are doing a complete cover just do sections at a time – not a big piece.
Brush on matte or glossy Mod Podge to the back of the art. Place it on the shoe. Smooth it to get the air bubbles out. Brush with Mod Podge. You can even dip small pieces. You can also layer pieces over each other.
Trim off any excess overhang after it's dry. Spray with matte or glossy sealant to increase durability. You can opt to paint the shoes first, in order to get the background color you want.
+Tamra Bryan Thanks for posting! Pics and a tag if you give it a try.
