Beautiful capture +Scott Cramer. Looks like you all had a really nice time.

Daughter stayed with uncle Keith from Monday until we went back to get her Wednesday. Keith is a most gracious lake host. 🙂

Thank you guys for the pic compliments. I need to get a real camera sometime! ha

+Kari Tedrick I was thinking… how would Kari try to take this shot…… 😉

  5. Kari Tedrick says:

+Scott Cramer You need no help from me. Actually I would probably have composed it the same exact way, well except for the portrait, I prefer landscape.
You have all the elements that attract me, foreground, background, light and dark.
I would have used different exposure, and shutter/and or ISO settings but then I don't shoot with a cell phone.
    Great Shot!
I wonder what I could do to it with a few edits

  6. Scott Cramer says:

Cell phone leaves limited range (none) on manual settings. Preset options for different scenarios but that's about it. My preference is landscape also. I tried both ways but these were the best captures to get the sun and water reflection and still be somewhat zoomed in. 🙂

  7. Luis Roca says:

I like shooting portrait with my phone particularly if I know I'll end up cropping it to 1:1 (square). — If it's going to be posted here then landscape is always better unless you're Ok with laying out a few portrait shots side by side as one image to eat up the pillar box.

  8. Scott Cramer says:

Yeah… looking at it closer, I could crop these to a workable landscape. I may play with it later. They're a straight dump from phone to G+ with no edits right now.
