Get a freaking clue, Android tables + data providers!
Buy an Android tablet for $500 – $600 plus $50/month for two years, or an iPad 2 for $500 plus $20/month only when needed. Game might as well be over.

The need to commit to expensive data plans for Android tablets make competing with the iPad almost impossible.

Umm Im srry I dont think this is at all a guarantee of anything. You dont have to use a tablet (being Android or Apple) over 3G/4G most people I know that have a tablet have the WiFi only versions anyways! Furthermore, the more reasonably price tablets such as the Nook Color (my fav) and the Kindle Fire are Android based as well. The competition is heating up and Apple is going to seem like an overpriced prissy device compared to its competitors; similarly to what happened in the PC market.
+Christopher Caro I don't think Android tablets are dead. HOWEVER, the only way I'd buy any tablet is with WiFi. With the pay-as-you-go plan, I could be convinced to go with iPAD over Android-based, though, if I was travelling more. I think that is a big deal to a lot of people.
