I'm all for the demonstrations and I applaud the use of visual aids and I understand the demonstrators may not have much to work with… HOWEVER, it looks like they are carrying a fish head or half a sweet potato with a blue dot.
Shout out to a liberal special effects group — please send a giant rubber squid.

PHOTO: New York Demonstrators ‘Squidding’ Goldman Sachs
Today, in addition to thousands marching on the West Coast to shut down ports connected to Goldman Sachs, hundreds of demonstrators are marching against the bank in New York City. Protesters are using the #squidding hashtag on Twitter, referring to Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi calling Goldman Sachs a “great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity.” Here’s a picture of demonstrators carrying a mock squid:
