Dad Shoots Daughter's Laptop for Disrespectful Facebook Post

Just wow. I searched and found no evidence that this is fake as of the time I am writing this post. I thought his voice faltered a few times which sounded real, just like he was emotional and upset. I really like when he addressed what his daughter said about the "cleaning lady". Over the top with the gun? I do not know guns; but if he was on his land and safe and legal, okay, whatever. Maybe it takes something extreme to get the point across in his situation. Hope this turns out okay for him and his family.

[EDIT] Visit the dad's Facebook page. At least right now, he has some great commentary in response to news coverage, the fact this video is viral, and he talks about what has happened (positively) with him and his daughter.

he has a facebook page, and it is noted that he lives in the country…..not against law for firearms in country……oh the only thing harmed was the laptop……he paid for it and maintained it…..do I think it was harash……?? He did not assault his child…..again out in country, target practice done all the time out there. It looks like the daughter had been grounded for it all ready…..it might have been some what harsh, but he followed through with what he said he would do…..parents that have a teen on line should keep an eye on where they post, and what…it is hard to believe that parents allow there kids to do what some of them do…..at least when she does get a computer back she will respect it……it is a privilege not a necessity…oh from what I was reading he is Veterinarian
    ____
    I raised 6 teenagers myself….and 5 of them at same time….it is not easy……especially today…..

+Cj Avery I like what he did. Thanks for the comment and extra info! Appreciated 😉

again it was out in the country…different there you have to have guns to kill snakes, etc. He did not take his anger out on his daughter, that is noted, sort of like hitting a nail with a hammer when you are angry. He is not a city veterinarian…..large animal….for farms and ranches…..

from what I read it was not put on….staged…he was just upset because their daughter was disrespecting them, a friend of theirs their daughter called a housekkeeper,….etc..he was frustrated, but did not harm his daughter….

Loved this. I already got to use this as a "see what happens when you are disrespectful" example for Charlie. I didn't show him the whole thing, just enough so he understood.

Of course the best I could do is shoot his laptop with a BB gun. Probably not quite the same impact…

  8. Scott Cramer says:

Plus I don't think you'd have it in you to actually shoot a laptop. Worst thing you'd do to it is install iTunes. ;-D

  9. Keith Cramer says:

haha… I asked him this morning if he believed I would actually shoot his laptop and he said "no."

Then I asked him if he thought I would shoot his laptop if he was completely disrespectful like this guy's daughter, and he said "yes."

I told him I'd never shoot his laptop. I'd sell it on eBay. 🙂

I think there should be a law against Laptop abuse I mean why not there is a law for everything else and you never know laptops may cause cancer just like everything else does.
