I got the e-mail today with the announcement but the sale happened last week. Perhaps they were recovering from celebratory hangovers?

I just got an email from Posterous stating Posterous has been acquired by Twitter. I am not sure what to think about this, since it appears this was news back on 3/12/12. I just received the email from Posterous today.
