that's why everytime i go to a zoo, i bring a boltcutter and free as many animals as i can.

  2. Scott Cramer says:

I thought your profile looked familiar. There's a poster of you up front.

  3. Aldric Newberry says:

He wouldn't know what to do with himself if he was free..

  4. James Hamel says:

Ooooh. i'm sure he'd figure SOMETHING out. Probably be throwing his poo everywhere he wasn't able to previously.

  5. Nathaniel Russell says:

Actually, I've read that animals would love to be in a zoo. You get fed regularly and you don't have to worry about predators EVER. Have you seen most zoo animals? Totally chill.

  6. Kyla Myers says:

Me, too. I have kind of a love/hate feeling about the zoo.

  7. Salvio Giglio says:

I close all zoo…and Green Hill! Freedom for all animals!

  8. Nathaniel Russell says:

It is documented that some zoo animals that escape, end up returning to the zoo.

  9. Scott Cramer says:

    +Nathaniel Russell That was a Disney movie… 😉

  10. Nathaniel Russell says:

I think too often we associate zoos with prison. But animals are probably safer in a zoo than a person would be in a prison.

  11. Aldric Newberry says:

Did the Mom die in that Disney movie too?

  12. James Hamel says:

"one who is willing to sacrifice freedom for security is deserving of neither" or something like that.

  13. Nathaniel Russell says:

I don't think animals want freedom. Freedom means having to find food, always being aware of predators, exposure to the elements.

  14. James Hamel says:

i don't think animals who woke up one day in the zoo, checked in their on their own looking for an easy meal and a roof over their heads either.

  15. Scott Cramer says:

There are pros and cons to zoos. I believe in them. I think promoting awareness of animals and the world around us is a good thing. My preference would be that animals in the zoo are ones that are born in captivity or for some reason from the wild but unable to return (injury or inability to be reintegrated socially). I like to see as natural as possible habitats for the animals and more policing in the zoo to make sure idiots are not tormenting the animals or feeding them contrary to their diets.

  16. James Hamel says:

i have no problem with zoos at ALL. in fact, i eat animals. All kinds of animals. I just don't like the mythology that the animals LOVE the zoos. They probably don't, and most would be better off if i ate them.

  17. Salvio Giglio says:

Dear +Nathaniel Russell Have you ever spoken with an animal? Do you know what it means not to live free? Have you ever lived in segregation? How can you say with such placid things similar?

  18. Mai'ta L'yeya Nava says:

I think zoos are a necessary evil,
since there are so many of us
taking up their land, and, and…
And not all animals taste like chicken…

  19. James Hamel says:

thank goodness! I would hate it if all animals "tasted like chicken". I like chicken, but i want my beef liver to taste like liver. I want my scallops to taste like scallops. I want my peacock to taste like peacock, but zebra ass still tastes like shit.

  20. Aldric Newberry says:

If I was a gorilla I would like to mess with the kids by pushing my face against the glass..

    Wait..I do that now..

  21. Mai'ta L'yeya Nava says:

    +Aldric Newberry I think that was in a movie…

  22. Aldric Newberry says:

    My home movies +Mai'ta L'yeya Nava .. 🙂

  23. Nathaniel Russell says:

I've "lived free" backcountry hiking in Colorado. Not finding water is not a fun experience. I doubt most people would want to "live free".

I won't argue about whether zoos are good or bad, just that I believe animals are for the most part are content.
