Create any size wall posters from any size images

I used this site a couple times today to create some promo material for a trade show. There are other sites and software, I'm sure, but this is darn quick and easy. Follow it up with a good color printer and some heavy stock paper, plus some time to trim and tape everything together (x2 if you're anal like me) and voila. Cheap and good artwork.

Great for cheap dorm art too… especially if you have access to the print labs 😉 Even if you don't, Kinko's or some other print store still won't cost you too much to cover your entire wall (or ceiling if you're industrious) in coolness.

[EDIT] Also take a look at http://fasterposter.com/ — Blockposters limits your uploaded image to 1mb and Fasterposter says it will take a 7.5meg image. I have not tried it as of this writing.

  8. Pablo Esquivel says:

…not defacing, think of it as a much needed face lift… ^___^

  9. Scott Cramer says:

+Pablo Esquivel LOL, yes, yes, totally the wrong word on my part. I love seeing the creativity of street art. Face lift all the way. 😉

There used to be a free software package you could download to do this The Rasterbator, don't know if its still available.

  11. Scott Cramer says:

+mike quinn I could not find the online version anymore… or the author's site. There is a downloadable version in another language but it looks several years old. I did, however, find http://fasterposter.com/ which does the same as Rasterbator and Blockposters EXCEPT a positive over Blockposters is that it will accept a 7.5meg uploaded image whereas Blockposters limits you to 1mb.
