Customer sues AT&T for throttling and wins

Have an unlimited data plan but are getting throttled ?

This customer sued and won $850 plus court costs. Had an unlimited plan but was throttled on AT&T's network.

AT&T offered a settlement but he refused. AT&T chose not to appeal. I suspect they don't want the publicity. That's where we come in. 🙂 Let's spread the word.

Yea but the he says he will use the money to help him cancel his contract. So you win that money to use it to pay them back with it .
    #Fail

+Marcel Bennett Too funny. That is exactly what I was thinking but just went for the emoticon when I wrote out the post instead. Nice. 😉

  3. A. Miles Davis says:

AT&T established a policy to remove class action lawsuits.
Since this single person won for throttling, EVERYONE who is an AT&T customer should likewise sue and use this win as precedent.

Class action lawsuits exist to keep the courts from clogging.
Clog those bastards and make AT&T regret it.

  4. Scott Cramer says:

    Hope they do.

  5. Marcel Bennett says:

I should do the same to T-Mobile since i am stilk technically still paying for a grandfathered unlimited plan

  6. Kaydie Wells says:

Call me dumb here but, what is throttling?

  7. Scott Cramer says:

+Kaydie Wells Sorry, I put this in a tab to get back to and somehow missed it! Check out:

Basically, the ISP determines for some reason you no longer get the bandwidth you would normally have and they cripple you.
