Early last week I asked known friends and cohorts on +Keith Cramer's stream to submit a scanned signature and/or note that I could edit together into a card for Keith's birthday on March 10th. The Google+ community never ceases to amaze me; in just a couple days I received over thirty-five entries going well beyond my original request.
This was to a limited number of users that +Kristi Fahlsing and I gathered from users who left comments recently on Keith's stream. I could not post public or it would not have been much of a surprise. Otherwise, I am sure I would have been completely inundated with entries to edit together. As it was, I changed my original card idea into a 24" x 36" poster to do justice to all of the wonderful submissions. It took me a couple days solid worth of time to organize, edit, and design.
It was well worth it! One, I got to interact more closely with an amazing group of people. Two, and most importantly, Keith was blown away by the large format color print, dry mounted, and framed. He's done a lot of solids for me over the years; no going half way with this.
Thank you G+ community for being awesome! I wish I could have cast a wider net to catch more of you who I know would have helped me out with this!

This is a really well done birthday "card" +Scott Cramer i love the idea a friend of mine did a collage (sp?) Of pics of our close friend group over the course of a year and glued them together by hand in a 20×16 for christmas one year so no 2 were exactly the same…it was better than anything she could have bought because it captured memories.
