My New License Plate

My new license plate arrived today! "GEEK" by itself was already taken, but I think I like my version even better. Only the true geeks are going to get it. Yes, that's a challenge. 😉

Second picture is of +Keith Cramer and my cars side by side at work. He is in the process of restoring the used jeep he purchased; the plastic window is not the norm! I'd have my '69 VW Bug as a daily driver but it's still in full-on-restore mode over in Keith's garage.

I've always wanted to restore a Jeep and VW bug. Next year I'm going to get my son a jeep for a project car so that he can restore it and learn how to work on his car by himself. I may go full out Dune buggy body kit sometime in the following years.

  2. Amanda Rachelle Warren says:

    OOH! +Keith Cramer …JEEP! That's a nice one.
And +Scott Cramer , nice plates!

  3. Scott Cramer says:

+Brendan Farrell When you do, post pics and tag us in! 🙂

  4. Bryan Hecht says:

"what to put on my plates" is not the ultimate question…

  5. Keith Cramer says:

Thanks +Amanda Rachelle Warren. It's a 91 YJ. Still needs quite a bit of work, but she runs great now.
Someday I would still like to get an old CJ….

  6. Scott Cramer says:

    +Bryan Hecht LMAO! 🙂

  7. Bud Hoffman says:

    Nice! 🙂

  8. Amanda Rachelle Warren says:

I had an '89 Cherokee that I destroyed completely during MI winters. R.I.P. Barbie Jeep (it was baby blue). My newer one doesn't have the same feel. I love the old CJs and YJs, and I can go all autogeek on the Willys.

  9. Halfdan Reschat says:

It took me a few seconds to get it because I read it as "4geek2" and not as "42" and "geek." Awesome license plate by the way.

  10. George Koklas says:

You can't just drive around flashing all that knowledge to everyone 😛

  11. Scott Cramer says:

I thought about "TOY YODA" but it was too cutesy. 😉

  12. Bryan Hecht says:

Y'all got some cheapy plates. Ours are stamped still

  13. Keith Cramer says:

+Bryan Hecht We don't have enough prisoners qualified to use the license plate stamper in Indiana.

  14. Kim Crawford M.D. says:

    Hilarious!

  15. Keith Cramer says:

+Amanda Rachelle Warren We had a red 88 Cherokee. We drove it to death. It's 4WD was far better than the 95 Blazer and our 94 Explorer combined.

  16. Amanda Rachelle Warren says:

I love 4WD. It was a must in Michigan.

  17. Sarah Rodlund says:

+Scott Cramer That is beautiful! Here in the Bay Area people would just fawn over that!!!!

  18. Bryan Hecht says:

+Keith Cramer you cav have some of ours, we are over crowded and releasing a bunch!

  19. Scott Cramer says:

+Sarah Rodlund If I drive to the bay then we shall go on a fawn hunt! Lol

  20. Bryan Hecht says:

+Sarah Rodlund if it were a hybrid maybe.

  21. Matt Mould says:

Great answer, still don't know the question.

  22. Bryan Hecht says:

    -1 Geek point

  23. Matt Mould says:

How do I lose a geek point? If you tell me you know the question, I'll call you a liar or a zombie.

  24. Bryan Hecht says:

    I alone know the question!
You just got -1 because you admitted to it! LOL

  25. Keith Cramer says:

It still amazes me that society finally flipped around to the point where someone would be upset to be called less of a geek.

Flashing back to middle school nightmares…

  26. Matt Mould says:

Then you, +Bryan Hecht, I call a liar, for only one man could ever have known the question and he never divulged if he did, God rest his soul. I call BS and deduct 5 geek points for either not knowing what I was referencing or honestly thinking you know the answer 😛

  27. Scott Cramer says:

But I still get all the points. 😉

  28. Amanda Rachelle Warren says:

    42 points to be exact!

  29. Matt Mould says:

    I concur.
