I took back my new glasses. The progressive lenses (a misnomer to be sure, since they regressed my vision) made me feel like I was inside a fish-bowl walking around a world filled with fun-house mirrors. Gack!
They'll have to drag me kicking and screaming from the depths of near blindness before I try that again. Back to on, off, on, off, etc. Plus, migraines aren't so bad, really; it's like forced downtime. With pain.

+Greg Christopher +Nancy Clifford Thanks for the sympathy+ 😉 Experience with progressive lenses?
Yes Scott, I had progressive lenses for a short while.
Your experiences with the lenses were exactly like mine. Your description really made me laugh because it was so spot on.
I've been using mono-vision for 10 yrs now. (wearing one contact… for closeup reading.) I wanted to get the progressive lenses because on paper… they seem perfect… close, mid-range and distance.
But they made me feel like I was on a psychedelic. 🙂
+Nancy Clifford I'm glad to hear at least one other person had this experience. I've never heard anyone say anything about them. I figured it would be something I would have to get used to, but never imagine! Whoa.
I really tried to get "used" to them +Scott Cramer They even gave me a nauseous feeling. I wanted them to work so bad. lol
I just got these. Wish I had researched before I wasted hundreds off dollars. They such, make me sick and give me eye headaches. The eye shop pushed them too. What can we do?
