Sometimes an image just resonates with you. This image, "As a gift" by Srikaton Mindarwanto really touched me. What is the detail or special magic that takes what one person may consider inconsequential and turns it into something with so meaningful to another?
This image resonates me at the very deep level where I think about my daughter and how much she means to me. The flowers (flowers, weeds, budding tree branch?) look like something she would see and find innocent beauty in and then give to me and we would place it in a jar or coffee cup.
Yet I know others may feel something entirely different, or nothing at all. Amazing.

You are nice and cool and great! Small plant!

I think the same can be said for a song, for a scene in a movie, or even a moment in a conversation.
I love the photo, especially the use of the empty space. I think it makes the image very powerful. It makes me wonder what experience in your life causes this image to be so much more meaningful to you. or is it something that is "wired" into your being and not the result of life's experiences.
